The N3C-R is a solution where a passive light ring helps reveal more details by generating fewer shadows during illumination. It is designed for use with the Dino-Lite AM4115/4515/4815/7815MZT and 7815MZTL. The N3C-R measures 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) in diameter and is a simple yet powerful solution for providing ring lighting to a digital microscope. The N3C-R utilizes the Dino-Lite’s built-in LEDs by redirecting them into a focused, diffuse, and uniform illumination of the object. On polarized models, such as the AM4115ZT, AM4515ZT, and AM4815ZT, the polarizer can still be used to reduce unwanted reflections. There is no need to mount an external light ring, so no extra heat is generated and no significant weight is added. This makes the N3C-R a very simple but powerful solution. Note: The N3C-R works best at a working distance of 2-15 cm. It is not suitable for use at shorter working distances and is not compatible with high magnification models such as the AM4515T5 or AM4515T8.
